Adrià Barceló, Invited Speaker at the 2024 Edition of the HealthTech2030 event

Adrià Barceló was invited to give a speech in the session Quantifying Impact at Xartec Salut's third edition of HealthTech2030, an event that featured disruptive discussions with startup leaders, researchers, and innovators.

The Xartec Salut network, led by CREB UPC, hosted the third edition of HealthTech2030, organized to explore emerging opportunities and challenges of future health technologies. The event, held in Casa Rius (Barcelona, Spain) on Oct. 10th, 2024, featured disruptive discussions with startup leaders, researchers, and innovators.

As Tech Transfer Manager at PlasmaMED Lab, Adrià Barceló was invited to give a speech in the session Quantifying Impact at Xartec Salut, in which he explained the origin of our technology, its development, and current situation. He also pointed out the importance of programs like Xartec Salut's Venture Builder and Entrepreneurship Academy, focusing on how they helped with our project's progress.

The HealthTech2030 also included an Innovation Challenge contest, a 3-day event with the aim of solving real challenges that will contribute to improving healthcare and people's quality of life through technology, while promoting disruptive innovation in a collaborative ecosystem between students, researchers, patients, companies and hospitals.

A group of PhD students with students from BBT-UPC and CIEFMA-UPC, which included PlamaMED Lab's Paula Urdalleta, were the winners of the Dermachallenge, proposed by Almirall, with their imaginative and successful solution: Gentledreams.
