Adrià Barceló joins MIT's prestigious IDEA² program in Boston

Last week, Tech Transfer Officer of the PlasmaMED Lab, Adrià Barceló, attended the kickoff meeting of the prestigious IDEA² program from MITLinQ at MIT, in Boston (USA). Together with 8 other projects worldwide, he was selected to participate in the program, a 6-month adventure to speed up the arrival of our innovative plasma-based technology closer to the patients and the market.

PlasmaMedLab Tech Transfer Officer, Adrià Barceló, has attended the kickoff meeting of the IDEA2 at MIT program from MITLinQ, in Boston (USA), on January 30th-31st, 2025.

Our project was selected to participate together with 8 other projects focused on tackling a range of urgent medical challenges. IDEA² at MIT is dedicated to mentoring and connecting biomedical innovators worldwide, accelerating their projects and their ideas. This support aims to sharpen our focus and enhance the project value, with innovation training, team-specific guidance, skill building, and personalized mentorship from internationally-recognized experts.
This amazing opportunity, funded and promoted by MITLinQ, consists of a six-month journey to accelerate the development of our innovative plasma-based technology, bringing it closer to patients and the market.
