Part II of the Special Issue on Plasma Medicine is now out

The second part of the special issue on Plasma Medicine has been published in Plasma Processes and Polymers and focuses on the interdisciplinary nature that is intrinsic in this field. Plasma medicine combines, at its heart, elements of physics, chemistry, biology, and engineering.

PlasmaMED members Dr. Cristina Canal, Dr. Albert Espona-Noguera and Dr. Francesco Tampieri have recently edited the scond part of the Special Issue on Plasma Medicine, published by the journal Plasma Processes and Polymers (Wiley).

The contributions in this special issue clearly are an example of this aspect and range through a variety of applications and approaches of non-thermal plasma in medicine. This second part includes a scientific perspective, a review article, and five research articles.

For further details, you can read the Editorial by Canal, Espona-Noguera and Tampieri (https://doi.org/10.1002/ppap.202377001).

The outside front cover of this issue was created by Dr. Tampieri.
