Cristina Canal, new Director of the UPC School of Doctoral Studies

During yesterday's Governing Council's term, Dr. Cristina Canal was appointed as the new Director of the UPC School of Doctoral Studies.

Previous to this appointment, Dr. Canal was Deputy Director of the School for the last two years, under the Direction of her colleague Dr. Josep Maria Font.

The priority lines of Cristina Canal's mandate as Director of the Doctoral School for the next few years will focus on enhancing the doctorate experience, in accordance with the strategic plan of the center, and reinforcing the transfer and international valorization of the university's research, positioning the School as a global reference.
