Cristina Canal secures funding from AEI for her project PlasmaBOOSTs

Dr. Cristina Canal is the principal investigator of the project PlasmaBOOSTs, originally presented to the ERC-Advanced Grant call, and finally funded by Agencia Estatal de Investigación (AEI), to develop her proposal "Biomimetic hydrogels to deliver oxidative stress from cold plasmas boost tissue regeneration".

In a groundbreaking approach, PlasmaBOOST aims to bring tissue engineering to a new level, by developing tissue-specific plasma-treated hydrogels with the ROS&RNS new functionalities from plasmas, to act as a novel tool for tissue engineering.
