Members of the PlasMed Lab attend the 1st Training School on Fundamental aspects on Plasma Medicine in full

Dr. Cristina Canal, together with PlasmaMed Lab PostDocs Dr. Albert Espona and Dr. Francesco Tampieri and PhD students Miguel Mateu and Milica Zivanic presented their work at the 1st Training School - “Fundamental aspects on Plasma Medicine”.

Several members of the PlasMed Lab attended the 1st Training School on Fundamental aspects on Plasma Medicine , which took place in Caparica (Portugal) from 14-16th of February, 2022, in hybrid format.

The Training School, part of the COST Action CA20114 "Therapeutical applications of Cold Plasmas" - PlasTHER, aimed to present both basic level and state-of-the art in cold atmospheric pressure plasmas and plasma treated liquids in the field of medical applications, to establish a structured link between theoretical and practical interdisciplinary knowledge allowing all participants (from PhD students to senior researchers as Dr. Canal) to bridge the gap between the theory and experiments and also to promote interlink between research fields.
