Miguel Mateu presents his PhD Thesis

Dr. Miguel Mateu, second PhD. student to complete his doctorate as member of the PlasmaMed Lab. He focused on the "Evaluation of biological effects of atmospheric plasmas in bone cancer" for his PhD thesis, which was co-directed by Dr. Cristina Canal and Dr. Juan Tornín.

PhD. Student Miguel Mateu defended his Doctoral Thesis, Evaluation of biological effects of atmospheric plasmas in bone cancer, co-directed by Dr. Cristina Canal and Dr. Juan Tornín (ISPA), on June 13th, 2022 at EEBE.

The thesis board was formed by Dr. Jaume Mora (IRSJD), Dr. Carles Mas-Moruno (BBT-UPC) and Dr. Angela Privat-Maldonado (University of Antwerp).

Dr. Mateu was awarded with a FI PhD Grant by Generalitat de Catalunya and, after 4 years of hard research work, he successfully obtained his Doctorate Degree.

During his PhD thesis, and under the research of APACHE project, he spent several weeks at INSERM (Nantes, France), for the realization of in vivo studies at Dr. Pierre Layrrolle's laboratories.
