MIT's competitive IDEA² program welcomes a PlasmaMED Lab team representatives

For the second time, representatives of the PlasmaMED Lab team travel to Boston to attend the final workshop of the IDEA2 program by MIT (Boston, USA). IDEA2 is a 6-month mentorship program to develop healthcare technology ideas with highly potential impact for society on a path to market.

Last week, Adrià Barceló, Tech Transfer Officer of the Plasma Medicine research line, Cristina Canal, Director of the PlasmaMedLab and Cédric Labay, former Postdoc researcher of our group, attended the final workshop of the IDEA2 program at MIT in Boston (USA).

This was the conclusion of a 6-month program providing transformative mentorship from recognized matched experts, innovation training and elite international network to develop healthcare technology ideas with highly potential impact for society on a path to market.

Thereby, the team had the chance to fine-tune and strengthen their initial project with the 1:1 project-specific mentoring, while gaining new skills for the adventure that awaits them to make the idea a reality for the patients.

The team was awarded the amazing opportunity after compiting with teams worlwide. The Organizing Committe selected 9 projects to live this priceless experience to advancing the spin-off project of the group in the right direction.
