The 7th International Workshop on Plasma for Cancer Treatment (IWPCT-2021), a big success

The 7th International Workshop on Plasma for Cancer Treatment (IWPCT-2021) was held online (due to the COVID sanitary crisis) on the 29th and 30th of June, 2021.

The workshop, organized by members of the PlasMED lab, and co-chaired by Dr. Cristina Canal and Dr. Cédric Labay, brought together 75 researchers active in the field of Plasma Oncology and Plasma Medicine, from all over the world, to discuss recent progress in understanding and contribute to the advance on plasmas on cancer.

The IWPCT 2021, with 6 invited talks, 21 contributed oral presentations and 1 poster session, shined by the high scientific level in all communications, its fruitful discussions and lively interactions during poster session & coffee breaks.

Previous to the workshop, a Mini-Course on Basic and Applied principles on Plasmas for Cancer treatment, gathered around 40 researchers in the field.
