What are cold plasmas used for in some medical treatments?

Recently, and as another element in our incessant work to disseminate science that we carry out in our research group, we published an article in El País in which we answered the question of a reader, Jesús López: "What are cold plasmas used for in some medical treatments?".

El País, one of Spain's main newspapers, has the specific section "We respond" (inside Health and Wellbeing) in which Spanish scientists answer questions posed by readers of the newspaper on science and technology related issues.
