Xavi Solé attends SIBB2019 conference

APACHE's PhD student and member of the PlasmaMed Lab, Xavier Solé, had an Oral Presentation at SIBB 2019.

PhD student Xavier Solé attended the XLII Congreso de la Sociedad Ibérica de Biomecánica y Biomateriales (SIBB2019), held in Madrid (Spain) from the 15th to the 161th of November, 2019.

During the conference, Xavier Solé presented his work "Synthesis and characterization of a 3D model of osteosarcoma for in vitro evaluation of the therapeutic effects of cold atmospheric plasmas".

Solé is a PhD student in hisr 1st year of a Grant associated to the project "Atmospheric Pressure plAsma meets biomaterials for bone Cancer HEaling (APACHE)", a Starting Grant by the European Research Council (ERC), for the realization of his PhD thesis on the "Study of the effects of cold plasmas on composite hydrogel – calcium phosphate biomaterials", under the supervision of Dr. Cristina Canal.
