FECYT's Científicas e Innovadoras, a website that aims to give visibility to nationally and internationally recognized female scientists and innovators, has featured Dr. Cristina Canal as part of their campaign #11F365 to make visible the work of female scientists working in Spain.

Members of the PlasmaMED Lab have co-organized, together with a team from Cornelius University led by Dr. Peter Papp, the 4th Training School “Bridging Science and Innovation: Translating Plasma Medicine into Clinic and to the Marke” of the PlasTHER Cost Action, held in Slovakia from the 28th to the 31st of January, 2025. Project Manager Noelia Aparicio was also an Invited Speaker, and some members of the research group also presented their work during the Training School.

Last week, Tech Transfer Officer of the PlasmaMED Lab, Adrià Barceló, attended the kickoff meeting of the prestigious IDEA² program from MITLinQ at MIT, in Boston (USA). Together with 8 other projects worldwide, he was selected to participate in the program, a 6-month adventure to speed up the arrival of our innovative plasma-based technology closer to the patients and the market.

The PlasmaMed Lab team presented their disruptive project at UPC Startup Corner stand and took the stand in two separate occassions. The team's innovative technology was met with enthusiastic interest, fueling collaborations and feedback from many stakeholders and key players in the sector.
